Anna has more than 20 years of legal practice in International Law, and is a Certified Lawyer with the Bar Association of Barcelona.

After receiving her Law Degree “Cum Laude” at the age of 20, she worked in Public Sector and several EU International Cooperation projects in various countries, specializing in particular, in Central Asia. She also worked in several multinational private businesses in real estate and hospitality sectors. She focuses in bringing best international practices in every project she carries out.

Anna holds an LLM in International Human Rights Law from England, for which she received a full scholarship on merits, and also a Master’s Degree in International Law (Abogacía Internacional) from Spain.

Anna leads our Corporate and Commercial Law Practice, and specialises in business set-up, investment transactions, and immigration strategies.

Being an expat herself, she successfully runs the firm and several other businesses and works with investors from across the Globe.

Anna is fluent in English, Russian, and Spanish, and also speaks French and Catalan.

Joaquín is a Certified Lawyer with the Bar Association of Barcelona (ICAB), and has more than 35 years of experience in Litigation, Civil and Commercial Law.

Litigating throughout Spain, he defends the interests of clients in all types of disputes and, in particular, in real estate law, construction contracts, contractual and non-contractual liability claims, disputes between partners and directors of companies, unfair competition disputes, trademark law, industrial property, inheritance, among others.

As a native French-Spanish lawyer, educated at the Lycée Français in Barcelona, he defends and advises numerous French companies and individuals.

Joaquín has been collaborating with Klev&Vera since 2016.

Xènia has been with Klev&Vera since 2019 and is a Certified Lawyer of the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB). She holds a Master of Laws Degree from the University of Barcelona.

Her education featured a strong emphasis on International Law, culminating in her participation as a speaker at the VI Edition of the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition at the Hague.

Xènia is a valued member of Klev&Vera and provides advice in various areas of International Law.

She is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, is fluent in English, and has a basic knowledge of French.

Lluïsa has a Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona and was admitted to the ICAB in 1998. She is an expert in Family and Inheritance Law, Civil Procedural and Real Estate Law, with several specialisation courses and 25 years’ experience in advising clients throughout Spain.

In Family and Inheritance Law, she offers extrajudicial and judicial advice in the formalisation of marriages and partnerships, in separations and divorces by mutual agreement and contentious, alimony, compensatory payments; custody and maintenance; modification of measures; dissolution and liquidation of matrimonial property regimes; enforcement of judgments; wills and inheritance, always accompanying the client in each step and until the end of the process.

In Real Estate Law, she advises and handles complex real estate transactions, purchase and sale, leases, construction law, both out of court and in court.

Her mother tongue is Spanish and Catalan, and together with the team she offers advice in English and French.

Andrea has more than 27 years of experience in the legal sector and has been officially approved as Lawyer in Spain since 2002. She is a member of the Barcelona Bar (ICAB) since 2003, and is also a member of AIS (Association of University Professionals in Catalonia), ASCOM (Association of Regulatory Compliance Professionals), CUMPLEN (Association of Regulatory Compliance Professionals), and FIDEM (Women Entrepreneurs Foundation).

She received her Doctor in Law and Social Sciences degree in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1996, and has several Master’s degrees and specialised courses in Spain and Germany.

Andrea is specialized in corporate compliance, Labor Law, Gender Equality Programmes for companies, and corporate crime, and assists both, individuals and companies, from SMEs to multinational corporations.

She teaches in several Barcelona universities and the Barcelona Bar, and has published many articles on Criminal Law, Labour Law, diversity and equality in Uruguay, Argentina, Brazil, UK, Italy, and Spain.

Andrea speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, Italian, and has notions of Bulgarian.

Jorge de Tienda graduated in Law in 1986 from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, and has been a practising lawyer since 1986. He holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the University of Barcelona (1991).

Associate lecturer in Criminal Law at the Pompeu Fabra University of Barcelona since 1993, this activity was combined with the practice of law for three years.

37 years of experience as a lawyer specialising in Criminal and Penitentiary Law and Criminal Sciences and in areas related to legal assistance to detainees, European arrest warrants and international extradition orders, criminal and administrative offences in the movement of EU and non-EU capital, crimes against life, physical integrity, gender violence, occupational health and safety in the field of business, economic and business crimes, advice in all these areas to national, French and English-speaking companies and individuals.

He speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, French and Italian.

Xavier has been a member of the ICAB since 2005 and specializes in Criminal law.

After graduating he studied the Master of Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences by the Universities of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra, and completed specialization courses in Criminal Law in the Jurisdiction of Minors, in the legal representation before the Court of Jury and in criminal evidence examination.

Xavier offers his clients, both individuals and companies, a complete service in the area of criminal defense throughout Spain. He works to defend those who are being investigated in criminal proceedings, and to exercise the private prosecution, in defence of those who have been victims and/or harmed by a crime.

He is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan, and fluent in English.

Sara holds a degree in Business Management and Administration from the Barcelona University and is a member of the Catalonian Economists Association.

She has 24 years of experience providing tax advice to Spanish and foreign companies and individuals, in a first-class law firm, and is passionate about excellence in work and customer satisfaction.

Sara specializes in international, corporate, and indirect Tax Law, and has extensive experience in real estate tax matters.

In an academic role, she has lectured on international tax law at Escuela Superior de Comercio Internacional (ESCI) and on different tax matters at Centro de Estudios Financieros (CEF), both in Barcelona. She has also published a number of tax related articles in economic journals.

Sara is a native speaker of Spanish, English and Catalan, and has a basic knowledge of French.

Juan Carlos holds a Law Degree from the University of Barcelona, he is a licensed Tax Lawyer in the Bar Association of Barccelona (ICAB).

He also holds a Master Degree in Taxation and Tax Advice from the CEF – Centro de Estudios Financieros.

Juan Carlos has been with Klev&Vera since 2017, and specializes in International Tax Law (consultancy and management), Commercial and Inheritance Law.

Native in Catalan and Spanish, he is also fluent in English, and speaks basic German.

He describes himself as “resolute, rigorous and meticulous, I like to study each case and not take anything for granted”.

Ricard has more than 25 years of experience in accounting management, tax preparation and filing, both at corporate and self-employed level.

He has completed various courses in accounting and tax management at EADA and is always up to date with all tax news.

He is a member of the Association “Club del Asesor”.

Ricard has been with Klev&Vera since 2016.
